Refund Policy for the Italian COOKING SCHOOL CLASSES OFFERED BY THE ITALIAN CANADIAN CULTURAL ASSOCIATION OF NS
The Italian Canadian Cultural Association of Nova Scotia (referred to as the “Association”)
The Association recognize that circumstances change, and people may choose or need to reconsider their decision to register for classes with the School. At the same time, the Association makes decisions on staffing and facilities and incurs costs based on students’ registrations. This policy is intended to provide guidance and clarity on the criteria and timelines for refunds.
Policy Scope: This Refund Policy applies to all students and participants who register for cooking classes offered by the Association.
Policy Directives:
Classes require a minimum of participants, if this number is not met, the Association reserves the right to cancel classes and will offer a refund with no administration fee, payable by cheque.
Participants are responsible to take note of their class dates and schedule.
Refund Policy:
No refunds will be given for missed classes.
No refunds are offered once the cooking classes have started.
Participants may request a refund for exceptional circumstances with a written notice sent to office @ iccans. org and if approved by the Association, will be applicable as follows:
A $10.00 administration fee per registrant is applicable to process all refund requests.
Refunds will be payable by cheque only.
The Association reserves the right to change class schedules or amalgamate classes at its own discretion prior to the beginning of the cooking classes.
The Association will offer a makeup date for cancelled classes in the case of cancellations due to snow storms, illness of instructors or other unexpected situations.
